Often I am asked what is the purpose of this blog. Below is a detailed explanation.
The first and foremost purpose of this blog is to help the people who want to keep fish in aquariums at their homes but have no idea whatsoever of where to start from. For them the page of My first tank what to buy was erected. Here everything that is required by the beginner is listed out along with the details of why they are needed and what would happend if they were not there.
Then comes the people who have aquariums but are struggling with its maintenance. For them the page of Basics to starting an aquarium page was erected. Here they will find information from how to setup their tanks to what are the best recommendations for beginners to how to feed the fish and more. Blow by blow descriptions are given in bullet points.
Then comes the messy and last part for beginner aquarists. This is the page of Cleaning the tank. Here the full cleaning details is given in bullet points. This can also be done when re-setting up a tank.
Then we move on to beginner breeders. Fish breeding is an amazing thing and many people tend to often breed their fish for the fun of it or selling purposes. Live bearer fishes are the best to begin with as there is no hassle of looking after the eggs as well. The full details are available in the page Live-bearer fish breeding page. For people a bit more advanced into breeding they can look into the page of Egg bearing fish breeding which is currently being erected.
For the aquarists that love to keep other things such as snails/shrimps/reptiles/etc instead or alongside fish we have the page of Other Species among the fish. Here brief information is given to keeping these creatures inside aquariums.
Then comes the Tank Settings page where help is directed at people who have no idea whatsoever how to decorate and distribute ornaments and equipment.
A Gallery of Triumphs page has been put up to show-off the accomplishments of the fellow aquarists of Bangladesh. Here our achievements along with status are shown.
Fighter fishes are quite popular fishes but aquarists often have numerous difficulties with this fish. Their types, care, sexing along with breeding information and much more are put in the Fighter Fish (betta) page.
Last but not least comes the page where N.A,I,N,E. offers their aquatic courses to Bangladeshi students exclusively. Here students will be taught to be an aquarist from scratch, each time given an official certificate when passing the examinations in each level.
