Medicinal deceit
This post is for Bangladesh only.
Recently there has been a lot of questions about the proper dosage of the medicines provided by the aquarium stores. The best dosage of these medicines: DON'T USE ANY!
Firstly these aren't actual proper fish vitamins or "medicine". What those bottles contain are slightly toxic food colour which just end up harming the fish.
The red "vitamin" is of no use. Don't bother with it.
The green liquid slightly changes water colour due to the food colour base.
The blue one colours the water slightly to go along with the tinted "Nasir-glass" used for local aquarium making.
The clear white one is labelled "anti-chlorine" but that's just bottle of useless wastage.
Each of these cost about 20 taka and are absolutely useless.
The real medicines and vitamins can be found in the following fish stores:
1) Bangladesh Aqua Zone (B.A.Z)
2) Fisherman's Cave bd (FCBD)
3) Nature Aquatics
4) Fish Keepers
Note that the prices will vary from shop to shop and they aren't exactly very cheap. But the products are indeed genuine.
